News from the Board of Trustees

Following Monday night's general meeting, the Board of Trustees would like to announce that Kenia Bustamente has been appointed Chair of the Academic Committee (the position was previously held by Indira Thomas-Liekefett, who left the Board earlier this month for personal reasons) and that non-voting member Christopher Brown has been elected voting member to fill the vacancy due to Ms. Thomas-Liekefett's departure per section 5.7 of the by-laws. In both instances, the vote was unanimous. Please join us in congratulating and welcoming both colleagues to their new responsibilities. 

We would also like to add that both Ms. Bustamente and Mr. Brown will run for re-election/election by the Corporation in November and take the opportunity to encourage all interested members of the Corporation to consider running for a seat on the Board of Trustees.
