Language School: Personnel Changes and Open House
Please join us in welcoming Dr. Michela Bunn as Head of the Language School, effective June 1, 2025.
Dr. Bunn brings over two decades of experience as a language educator. Since 2021, she has served as Principal and President of the German School of Connecticut and has also taught German at two universities in Connecticut. She holds a Master’s degree in Political Science and Italian Philology, as well as a PhD in Italian Philology from the Rheinische-Friedrich-Wilhelms University in Bonn, Germany.
Dr. Bunn and Dr. Mischner will work closely together in June to ensure a smooth transition. We would like to thank Dr. Mischner for her dedication, her commitment to our students, and her many contributions to both GISNY and the Language School.
