Excellence Award for our MakerSpace

We’re proud to share that our Makerspace has received the Excellence Award from the Deutsche Industrie- und Handelskammer (DIHK)!

This prestigious recognition—awarded as part of a global competition for German schools abroad—celebrates our commitment to innovation, creativity, and hands-on learning.

We were especially honored that Dr. Helena Melnikov, Chief Executive of the DIHK, personally congratulated our Head of School, Volker Ovelgönne, Holger Jessen-Thiesen, who led the application process, and MakerSpace Coordinator Nadine Bernstein on this achievement.
