Afterschool & AfterCare Programming | Important Announcements

This is the final week of AGs. AfterCare will take place next week from Monday, 22, through Wednesday, 24, from 2:05 pm to 3:45 pm.

Registration for AfterCare and AGs in the Fall is now open! We have spots available in Yoga (grades 1-3 on Mondays), Computer (grades 3-4 on Wednesdays), Green School (grades 3-6 on Mondays), Ballet (grades 2-4 on Tuesdays), and more! 

We look forward to highlighting two new middle- and upper-school AGs: Tech Scouts and Junior Lab.

 

Tech Scouts AG

Join Tech Scouts AG on Wednesdays from 2:15-3:45 am, a team of tech‑savvy students in grades 7–11 driving innovation at our school. As a Tech Scout, you’ll support students and teachers while gaining hands‑on experience with digital tools and event technology.

At this beginner level, you’ll learn the basics: using interactive boards, iPads, and Chromebooks, troubleshooting simple issues, and training in the MakerSpace. You’ll also get an introduction to event tech, including audio, lighting, and production essentials.Teaching the class will be Nazan Sarcan (Digital Classrooms + Devices), Nadine Bernstein (MakerSpace) and Dennis Bergforth (Event Tech)

 

Junior Lab AG

Join the Junior Lab AG on Thursdays at 4 - 5:30 pm! Learn how to use real laboratory equipment, conduct exciting experiments, and discover how scientists think and work.

From analyzing food to hands-on investigations indoors and outdoors, you'll explore the world of chemistry while developing and testing your own ideas with Mr. Krause-Zeis.
