The GISNY Library March Review

Book displays at the Library

Posters with library topics

March offered a wide range of topics: For Zero Discrimination Day, we designed a glass wall full of colorful posters as well as age-appropriate books. In keeping with Women's History Month, we presented strong, courageous women who shaped societies. Other displays were dedicated to Purim, Ramadan and a Model UN exhibition - an inspiring mix of culture, history and global engagement.

The Vorlesewettbwerb took place in our library again this year. After an exciting head-to-head race, Alexander Pontow came out on top. Congratulations to him! We are delighted with the great performance of all participants.

Book Tasting

The Lower School English classes enjoyed a special activity in the library this month, focusing on the theme "Don't judge a book by its cover." Students had the opportunity to rate 2-3 books, evaluate the cover art and cover "blurb," and read the first pages.

Student Project Exhibition

The GISNY Library is proud to showcase three outstanding book projects from different grade levels. Grade 3 students created engaging "Leserollen," Grade 4 students designed vibrant book posters, and Grade 6 students crafted their own imaginative fairy tales.
