Spaces for Learning: Continuing Our Campus of the Future Journey

Following the successful renovation of the Lower School and Lobby areas last summer, we are excited to continue the next phase of our Spaces for Learning project. As part of GISNY's Campus of the Future vision, these improvements will further enhance our learning environments and support our educational mission.

This summer, we will undertake several major campus improvements, including:

• A full renovation of the Middle School classrooms and hallway
• Upgrades to the air conditioning, ceilings, and lighting in the Pre-K classrooms
• Replacement of the heating system and additional air conditioning upgrades in the Science Wing

These enhancements will create more comfortable, functional, and engaging spaces for students and teachers alike. We are grateful for the community's continued support as we invest in the future of our campus and look forward to welcoming everyone back in the fall.

Asbestos Abatement Notice

In accordance with New York State regulations, standard asbestos abatement notices will be posted at all exterior entrances this week. Such notices are required whenever construction activities involve the removal of building materials that may contain asbestos, including certain adhesives, floor tiles, ceiling materials, or insulation.

Please be assured that there is no health risk to students, staff, or visitors. Abatement work will begin on June 27 and will be performed by licensed professionals in accordance with strict safety protocols. All affected areas will be fully contained and accessible only to authorized personnel.
