Upcoming Seeds of Kindness Projects | Grade 7 & Grade 12

The school-wide Seeds of Kindness program gives every student, from Pre-K through Grade 12, the opportunity to develop empathy, responsibility, and a sense of community spirit through meaningful service projects.

Grade 7 Food Drive for Harrison Food Pantry

We are excited to begin this year’s Seeds of Kindness program with our 7th graders!

They will engage in a student-led food drive, collecting shelf-stable items such as

  • boxed cereals
  • pasta
  • pasta sauces
  • kids' cereal bars
  • jelly / jam
  • canned fruit

Donation boxes will be available inside the School’s entrance (near the Front Office) starting tomorrow, Thursday, October 1, 2026, and everyone is welcome and encouraged to bring some of the above-listed food items.

On October 8, the 7th graders will bring the donations to the Harrison Food Pantry and help sort and organize them. This hands-on approach allows them to see directly how their efforts support local families.

Thank you for encouraging and supporting our students as they spread kindness in our community!

Seeds of Kindness: Grade 12 Fundraising for Hope & Heroes

The 12th Grade will collect donations at the Schoolympics for its Seeds of Kindness project in support of Hope and Heroes, a New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut-based charity that funds life-saving work on childhood cancer and blood disorders.

Our students met with a young cancer survivor who received direct support from Hope and Heroes and are advocating in support of their cause. When you stop by the 12th grade drinks stand at the Schoolympics, you will have the chance to not only support the 12th grade Abi Ball but also add a donation to Hope and Heroes!

Thank you for your generosity.
