News from the Choirs | Holiday Caroling and Holiday Concert

GISNY Choir Concert – Tuesday, December 16, 6:30 pm

Join us for this year’s festive GISNY Choir Concert at Christ’s Church, Rye, followed by a joyful reception. Enjoy an inspiring evening of music from Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana performed by the Twinkling Stars, Troubadix, and the GISNY Choir, joined by members of the Christ Church Rye Choir.

Special guests include Max Parsons (baritone), Malina Malkani (soprano), Marcelo Pimenta (piano), Manuel Arellano (piano), Miles Salerno (timpani), and Galen DeGraf (percussion) under the direction of Dr. Evelyn DeGraf.

We look forward to celebrating the season with you through this beautiful musical tradition! 

Holiday Caroling

As every year, our wonderful GISNY Choir drives from house to house to bring holiday cheer.

On Thursday, December 11, from 6:30 pm to 8 pm, the GISNY Adult Choir goes Caroling all around the White Plains / Rye area! 

They lead a 15-minute program of Christmas Carols and Hanukkah Songs in front yards, driveways, and living rooms (if there is enough space for 20 singers) of people from the GISNY community. This can be a surprise gift for someone or part of your holiday party.  

A $150 donation towards the choir program is kindly encouraged (Venmo to @GIS NY; memo: Holiday Caroling).
