Guest Families Wanted for GISNY Intern | Feb - June 2026

We believe great teachers need a great education. However, no amount of studying can replace time spent with students in a classroom, thus turning passionate graduates into inspiring educators. 

An international internship is an enriching experience for young teachers. It provides an opportunity to enhance their foreign language proficiency and develop vital soft skills, which will prove beneficial in their future professional endeavors. 

Our partnership with the University of Potsdam is currently in its second year, and we are happy to have Alexandra Keil in our Lower School for her mandatory international internship, as well as Elisa Balke for a voluntary one. 

Today, we would like to introduce Maximilian Freimark, who will join us for the second semester starting in February 2026. His subjects are English and German for middle and upper school. 

We are still looking for a guest family for Maximilian. If you are interested in hosting him, please read his short introduction.
