Culture Corner Display in June
The Cultural Corner remains busy year-round, with colorful displays and informative boards for students of all ages. Highlights in the second semester included boards on Lunar New Year, Ramadan, and the true origin of Cinco de Mayo. They are a fun and engaging way to make students aware of all the different cultures represented here at GISNY, and for students of these cultures to feel acknowledged, respected, and accepted in our community.
To conclude the year, the Cultural Corner team is showcasing two events: the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence and a joyful display for Pride Month. To celebrate, and as it is tradition now, we will offer the kids rainbow popsicles for dessert next week! See you next school year!
