Buddy Day: Peace and Care

Yesterday, the Buddy Classes, bringing together older and younger students, met for the first time this school year. We celebrated Peace Day, talked about Peace and Care in our community, and crafted bookmarks with our new school values:

Peace means harmony between people, which requires that we care for one another. 

Whether it’s a normal school day or a special one like the Schoolympics, we should all try to be the best we can be (Excellence); we must take responsibility for our actions and be mindful of how our words and actions affect others (Responsibility); and we want to keep a positive attitude and be kind to one another (kindness).

We hope the Buddies had fun together!
