Focus Choices

Language Focus
For Grade 10, students can choose a third language.
At GISNY we offer two options:
⇒ Students cannot choose the same language as second and third foreign language.
⇒ The third language will only be offered if a sufficient number of students choose it.
⇒ Students who add a third language, automatically choose either Physics or Chemistry.
| Third Language |
Required Choice |
| French |
Physics |
| Spanish |
Chemistry |
Science Focus
Students who prefer a science focus will continue with Physics and Chemistry instead of a third language
Restriction for Grades 11 / 12
Any language or science subject can only be chosen in grades 11 and 12 if the student had them in Grade 10.
Please note that final course offering might change depending on students' choices.
