Campus of the Future: 2025 Lower School Renovations

The 2025 summer was not only a time of rest and preparation but also one of transformation. The Lower School underwent a beautiful renovation. Our Kindergarten, Grades 1–4, and the front office were refreshed with updated spaces designed to inspire learning, creativity, and connection. An important improvement was also made to our heating system. In addition, our Kindergarten and Pre-K students will enjoy an enhanced outdoor learning space, now equipped with new materials that encourage exploration, play, and discovery in nature.

These improvements are more than just walls and classrooms—they represent our ongoing commitment to providing an environment where children feel safe, supported, and eager to explore their full potential.

Campus of the Future Project 2022: The Science Wing

Thanks to generous donations and grants, GISNY was able to open the doors to the new Science Wing in 2022. It is the latest project on the "Campus of the Future" and features state-of-the-art science classrooms, a brand-new MakerSpace (science lab) and cutting-edge technology. Students use their creativity and education to experiment and develop their own projects as part of the school's challenging science curriculum. The MakerSpace serves as a collaborative space for discovery, facilitates interactive learning, and also provides excellent mentoring opportunities. The specialized spaces meet the standards of world-class German laboratories and feature state-of-the-art technology and innovative design.

Campus of the Future Project 2018: Building Extension

In 2018, we were delighted to open the expansion of our school building as part of the "Campus of the Future" initiative. With the help of grants and generous support from donors, we were able to extensively renovate our premises. We now have bright and spacious new spaces such as the cafeteria, student lounge, library, faculty lounge, offices, and classrooms.
