Attention: All Students in grades 9 - 12 Career Day 2020… is still on and has moved to online Zoom meetings! We are pleased to offer our 2020 Career Day over a series of Zoom meetings throughout May! The Career Day sessions are open to all students in Grade 9 through 12.

Career Day 2020 Session 3 Date: Thursday, May 21st Time: 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. Presenter: Sabine Chlosta, CMO biotech Triumvira Immunologics
Dr. Sabine Chlosta is the Chief Medical Officer of a biotechnology company, Triumvira Immunologics, where she leads the clinical development of novel genetically modified T-cell therapies for patients with cancer. Prior to Triumvira, Dr. Chlosta has worked at other companies including Merck & Co. and Novartis in different roles related to drug development. She is board-certified in pediatric hematology-oncology and in pediatrics. Dr. Chlosta completed post-graduate training in pediatric hematology-oncology at the combined program of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and Weill Cornell Medical College and in pediatrics at State University of New York at Downstate. Prior to her clinical training in the United States, Dr. Chlosta was a visiting research fellow in immunology at Harvard. Sabine received her PhD (Dr. med) and MD degrees from Charité Medical School Berlin.
In 2020, about 1.8 million people will be diagnosed with cancer and about 600,000 will die from the disease in the United States. Novel effective therapies are urgently needed for those affected.
Career Day 2020 Session 4 Date: Thursday, May 28th Time: 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. Presenter: Thorsten Leiduck, Global Vice President ISVs & Digital Commerce, SAP
As SAP's Global Vice President ISVs & Digital Commerce, Thorsten leads the development of a large, vibrant, open ecosystem around SAP's core platforms. With SAP PartnerEdge for Application Development, the newest and fastest growing partner program from SAP, Thorsten has established an industry-leading partner apps business which enables partners effectively to build innovative customer solutions leveraging SAP's platform technologies as well as to market those solutions via SAP Store and other routes to market. In his 10 years with SAP, Thorsten has held several leadership positions including SAP's Outsourcing & on-Demand Ecosystem business in AAPJ (Americas, Asia Pacific & Japan) and BPO Sales globally. Prior to joining SAP Thorsten led Business Development and Product Management for Business Networks and Exchange Solutions at T-Systems International GmbH and was an management executive of an ASP start-up company in Germany. Thorsten started his career working with IBM where he assumed responsibility for various direct sales and channel management positions.
Career Day 2020 Session 5 Date: Thursday, June 4th Time: 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. Presenter: Marco Schnabel, AutomotiveMastermind

Schnabl's father worked in the automotive industry for more than 40 years. Following in his footsteps, Schnabl was with Mercedes-Benz both in Germany and at its flagship location in Manhattan for more than ten years. During that time, he held a variety of roles, including: Sales Consultant, Sales Manager and Manager for Strategic Retail Development. Schnabl is a graduate of the Berlin School of Economics and holds a Bachelors of Arts in Business Administration, Management and Operations. Schnabl works out of Mastermind's New York City headquarters and has helped the company earn thousands of dealership clients from automotive manufacturers including: Acura, Audi, BMW, Cadillac, Honda, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, MINI and Toyota. He is fluent in German and English.
