For the second semester, the technology rules for grades 5th to 12th will be enforced. The technology rules which required a parent signature were provided to all students and parents at the start of the year.  If you'd like to review those rules and more information about technology at our school, please visit the school website and the "Technology @ GISNY" part of the website.  We thank the Parents' Association, Board of Trustees, and the Student Council for their feedback on the technology rules and consequences. Below are the technology consequences that were approved at the last General Conference and that will be followed starting second semester.

Student loses ability to use the device for the rest of day-the device is taken away.
Student must retrieve the device from Mr. Fruehwein's office.
Student has to sign into the binder to retrieve the device.
*  Students get two chances on this tier.

Tier 2 –
A parent has to come to retrieve the device from school from 2:05-4:00pm or the next morning from 7:30-8:30am.
