Financial Assistance
GISNY is committed to making an exceptional education accessible to a diverse community of students.
We understand that choosing a bilingual education for your child signifies a considerable commitment of both time and financial resources towards their future. Our goal is to support as many families as possible in making this valuable educational choice feasible.
At GISNY, we believe financial constraints should not hinder a family's ability to choose a bilingual education for their child. We define financial need starting from the very first dollar of tuition that challenges a family's financial stability, offering tuition assistance across a broad range of incomes. This year, the average award size was of $ 17,700, which is equivalent to 64% of the full tuition. We encourage families to explore if they are eligible to receive financial assistance.
Financial assistance applications must be submitted through our partner Clarity by no later than April 15th for the upcoming school year. Financial assistance covers up to 90% of annual tuition and is awarded at the school's discretion, based on Clarity’s recommendations and available budget, which may vary yearly. The Financial Assistance Committee carefully reviews each application, considering factors such as income, assets, and expenses.
GISNY's financial assistance awards are annual, and families must reapply each year with updated financial information to be considered for continued assistance. Priority will be given to returning families, provided they meet the necessary criteria and subject to budgetary allowances. Clarity charges a $60 fee per application, regardless of the number of children or schools applied to. To learn more about how to submit a financial assistance application, please read the Family Application Guide.
